Lloyd H. Dean is the former CEO of CommonSpirit Health, February, 2019 - July 2022. Mr. Dean was instrumental in creating CommonSpirit Health when Dignity Health and Catholic Healthcare Initiatives combined to form one of the America’s leading providers of Medicaid and other healthcare services, with 139 hospitals and medical centers. He is a nationally recognized leader within healthcare. Mr. Dean has dedicated his career to improving health and expanding access to healthcare for all. On October 12, 2021, Mr. Dean announced his retirement from his CEO position in summer 2022.
