Jason J. Tyler oversees the analytic work for Ariel’s Investment Group and specializes in the banking; office equipment &supplies as well as the information services & distribution industries.
Tyler also serves as the Investment Group’s liaison with institutional clients and manages the department’s broker and vendor relationships. A former Ariel research intern, Mr. Tyler officially joined Ariel in 2003 after spending ten years at Bank One/American National Bank in various roles, most recently as a Manager in the Planning and Analysis group.
He received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his AB in Politics from Princeton University. Mr. Tyler is a Director of First Chicago Bank and is a board member of the Emergency Fund, the Illinois Facilities Fund and Easter Seals. Additionally, he serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Joffrey Ballet.
