He serves on the Board of Directors of Stanford Hospital & Clinics and the policy advisory board of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. He also is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA), the Chief Executives Organization and the World Presidents Organization.
