Robert L. Johnson's RLJ Equity Partners LLC., has acquired regional waste hauling company R. Thompson Trucking Inc., which has been rebranded RLJ Trucking.

Headquartered in Concord, VA, Thompson Trucking operates in two major lines of business, waste hauling and bulk materials hauling.
Family-owned and operated since 1948, the company has a fleet of more than 150 tractors, 100 dump trucks and 500 trailers, according to RLJ Equity Partners.
