Share is Canada's largest newspaper focused exclusively on the black community. It is published on a weekly basis and focus on showcasing the community in a positive light. Share was started in 1978 after Auguste was fired from Contrast Magazine. He ran it from his apartment on Elginton Ave., publishing 2000 copies a week. After the third issue his apartment was fire bombed causing him to loose all his possessions but he kept on publishing. Share is now a 32 page weekly reaching 150 000 black readers across Southern Ontario and Montreal.
