Ebonnie Rowe is the founder and president of Toronto based PhemPhat Entertainment Group, an all-female nonprofit company that provides promotional and educational opportunities for upcoming female artists.
PhemPhat produces the successful all-female talent showcase, Honey Jam which has feature Nelly Furtado, Jully Black and Melanie Durrant on their way to international stardom. Ms. Rowe was also the founder of Each One, Teach One, a mentoring program for Black youth.
Ms. Rowe has received Special Achievement Award from the Urban Music Association of Canada, Volunteerism Award from Province of Ontario, YWCA's "Woman of Distinction Award" for Arts & Entertainment.
