Malik Dugard is Global Head of Family & Learning at YouTube. Previously Mr. Ducard led film and original content partnerships for YouTube.
He was previously Senior Vice President of Digital Distribution for The Americas, for Paramount Digital Entertainment, from June 2009 - March 2011. In this role, Mr. Dugard runs the studio's digital distribution department and P&L for The Americas, both setting and executing on the group's strategic course. With a great team, Mr. Dugard drives YOY revenue and profitability growth, and strikes deals with distributors for Paramount's content across Online, Mobile and New Media channels.
Mr. Dugard collaborates with multiple broadband, wireless, hardware and device partners to expand Paramount's distribution footprint across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America.
Mr. Dugard worked in MGM's home entertainment division and launched the Acquisitions and Business Development group.
After MGM, Mr. Dugard went on to lead the Home Entertainment Acquisitions group at Lionsgate, where he acquired feature films and libraries, as well as executive produced a stand-up comedy series for Showtime.
Mr. Dugard was profiled in the 15th Annual Hollywood Reporter Next Gen Edition and is currently on the board of directors of the Bresee Foundation, a non-profit LA organization that helps low-income youth, adults and families.
Mr. Dugard receiving his BA from Columbia, and his MBA from UCLAâ€™s Anderson School of Management.
