Jason J. Tyler oversees the analytic work for Ariel’s Investment Group and specializes in the financial services and infrastructure industries.
Tyler also serves as the Investment Group’s liaison with institutional clients and manages the department’s broker and vendor relationships. A former Ariel research intern, Mr. Tyler officially joined Ariel in 2003 after spending ten years at Bank One/American National Bank in various roles, most recently as a Manager in the Planning and Analysis group.
He received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his AB in Politics from Princeton University. Mr. Tyler is a Director of First Chicago Bank and is a board member of the Emergency Fund, the Illinois Facilities Fund and Easter Seals. Additionally, he serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Joffrey Ballet.
