Wesley J. Hall

Wes Hall is the founder and CEO of Kingsdale Shareholder Services Inc., which he started in 2003 and Kingsdale Communications Inc., started in 2009 to provide clients with a best-in-class mechanism for communicating with shareholders and managing IR communications. He has over 15 years' experience in Corporate Governance and Shareholder Communications. 

Prior to forming Kingsdale, Mr. Hall was Vice President, National Sales for Georgeson Shareholder Communications Canada, Inc. and prior that, a Senior Manager for a major Canadian Transfer Agent. Mr. Hall also work as Assistant Corporate Secretary at CanWest Global Communications Corp., a major Canadian broadcast network.

Mr. Hall is a founding board member of the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries (CSCS) and was the CSCS' longest serving President. Mr. Hall remains committed to his involvement in and support of the CSCS, and other corporate governance and investor relations organizations such as of Caldera Geothermal Inc. where he acts as a Director. He is Chairman of TSXV listed TriNorth Capital. Mr. Hall is a past Director of Metallic Ventures Gold Inc. until its acquisition by International Minerals Corporation. He was also involved with Exempt Market Dealers Association of Canada where he acted as a Director.

Mr. Halls’ other accomplishments in the field include being a recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2009 award in Ontario. In 2011, Mr. Hall also successfully completed the Directors Education Program offered by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) in partnership with the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.  He graduated from ICD and received an Institute-certified designation, ICD.D. Mr. Hall is now among a growing group of 1500 directors who have undertaken education and subsequent certification to demonstrate their value as directors.
