How 50 Cent Makes His Money

According to Forbes Magazine, Fifty Cent's business empire has amassed $500 million in sales, earning him at least $41 million last year alone.

"I'm creating a foundation that will be around for a long time, because fame can come and go or get lost in the lifestyle and the splurging," Fifty Cent explained to Forbes. "I never got into it for the music. I got into it for the business."

50 Cent's third album is due this Christmas, and a branding deal is reported to be in the works with Apple Computer, the maker of the iPod mp3 player. The 50 Cent branded line of affordable computers would be aimed at inner-city customers.

50 Cent, who dreams of joining the Forbes 400 said, "If I fail, it'll be my fault. I control the business, I make the decisions."
