Jay-Z and Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piquet announced Tuesday the creation of a limited-edition timepiece. Only 100 of the limited-edition watches will be made, to commemorate Jay-Z’s 10th anniversary in the music industry. 50 in stainless steel, 30 in rose gold, and 20 in platinum and will have a price range between $24,000 and $65,500. Each watch will come with a special edition engraved iPod pre-loaded with Jay-Z's albums similar to the U2 iPod.
"I chose to partner with Audemars Piquet based on the quality and integrity of the brand," Jay-Z said in a statement. "It's a perfect marriage."
Jay Z who recently retired from being a rap artist was appointed as the new CEO of Def Jam Records last year.
