Nadine Spencer is Chief Marketing Officer, Brand EQ Group Inc., a global marketing and communications agency. Ms. Spencer is responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build clients brand, leading to increased awareness, revenue, relevance and respect among their target audience.

Ms. Spencer recently served as Director of the Food Network Delicious Food Show, where she managed all aspects of the shows production, including business plans, special features, PR strategy, marketing, communication strategies, sponsorship, exhibit sales, and partner relationships.

Ms. Spencer was the founder and CEO of the Nadine Spencer Company, which consist of a group of  gourmet food companies, Finer Foods Limited, Q Gourmet Inc., and Nadine Spencer Food Media.

She serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Junior League of Toronto (JLT), a non-profit organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Ms. Spencer was born in Kingston, Jamaica, the 13th child among 14 siblings. Her family immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 1979.

Ms. Spencer's ultimate goal in life is to see universal literacy. She volunteers at the Scarborough Women's Centre and the YWCA, trying to ensure that every woman has access to education in order to make more informed choices.

Ms. Spencer holds a degree in political science from Toronto's York University. Her graduate thesis was on Iranian foreign policy towards Iraq.
