Time Magazine has released its list of the 100 men and women whose power, talent or moral example is transforming our world. The following is a list of the nine blacks who appear on this years Time 100.

The list is divided into five categories covering artist & entertainers, leaders & revolutionaries, heroes & pioneers, scientists & thinkers and builders & Titans. The only category which contained no blacks was scientists & thinkers.

• Condoleezza Rice - U.S. Secretary of State
• Oprah Winfrey - Talk Show Host

Heroes & Pioneers

• Wynton Marsalis - Musician
• Pernessa Seele - Founder and CEO, The Balm in Gilead, Inc.

Builders & Titans

• Sean (Diddy) Combs - Entrepreneur
