Robin Wilson launched her firm, Robin Wilson Home, in 2000 with a focus on interior design, residential renovations and project management. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Robin is a fourth generation member of a Texas real estate family.
Robin Wilson Home handles projects ranging from 400-square-foot apartments to 8,000-square-foot homes. In addition, Robin Wilson offers a division for commercial design for corporate clients. Notable projects include the renovation of the Harlem office of President Clinton in 2004 and the Peninsula Spa Salon in 2007, among others.
In June 2006, Robin Wilson was named to a one-year term as a national spokesperson for the Hearst Magazines Home/Shelter Division with titles including: O at Home, House Beautiful, Veranda, Town & Country, Country Living, Good Housekeeping and Smart Money. As CEO of Robin Wilson Home, Robin has appeared in publications such as O at Home, the Wall Street Journal, New York Daily News and the Chicago Tribune and made appearances on CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC. In May 2007, Robin was featured in the New York Post's annual list of the "50 Most Powerful Women in New York".
Robin has served on the boards of numerous philanthropic organizations including the Boston Symphony Orchestra and YWCA. She holds an MS from New York University and a BA from the University of Texas at Austin and is an affiliate member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
