Denise Gray is the former Director, Battery Systems Engineering, GM. In this position, Gray was responsible for the advance development, design, release, validation of battery system solutions for GM hybrid and electric vehicle batteries.
Gray began her career with General Motors in 1980 as a student intern and has held a wide range of leadership positions in GM’s Vehicle Engineering and Powertrain organizations including: Director of Transmission Controls, Director of Engine and Transmission Controller Systems Integration and Director of Engine and Transmission Software Engineering. Her experiences in these positions led to her current assignment.
Gray holds a BS Electrical Engineering from Kettering University (formally GMI) and a MS Engineering Science - Management of Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2000).
She is married and the proud mother of two sons.
